U17 | Schoolboys League Round-Up

U17 Division One | Quay crowned champions
League leaders Quay Celtic only needed a point to clinch the U17 Division One title and they just about got it in a very tight encounter against Woodview in the Fairgreen Saturday.
Woodview came into the game two points behind Quay and their priority was to win the game but they just couldn’t break down Quay Celtic’s well organised defence with the Point Road side crowned champions.
U17 Premier | Rock leave door open for Deesiders
Rock Celtic’s U17 Premier Division title hopes suffered a major setback on Saturday morning when they dropped two valuable points against Albion Rovers in Monasterboice.

Second placed Ardee Celtic took full advantage by beating Redeemer 0–3 in Gorman Park. Geldi Melovs gave the mid-Louth side a first half lead and two outstanding strikes from Jamie Farrell after the break sealed the points for the Deesiders.
Rock have just one game remaining and sit top with 37 points from 18 games. Ardee Celtic have 32 points from 16 games and can clinch the title with three victories from their remaining three games.
