U14 | Bellurgan United set up Super Sunday title showdown with Ardee Celtic
U14 Premier | Glenmuir United 0–3 Bellurgan United

Bellurgan United turned on the style to take all three points and end Glenmuir’s U14 Premier Division title hopes at Hoey’s Lane on Tuesday night.
It’s now a two-horse race between Ardee Celtic and Bellurgan for the title. Both teams are locked on 46 points from 20 games and the destination of the trophy will be decided on Sunday in the final league fixture at Townparks in Ardee.
Glenmuir were disappointing on the night and never really got going but can bounce back with a good cup run to try and salvage something from their season.
Bellurgan played some excellent attacking football and defended solidly when necessary and they deservedly took the lead just two minutes before half time.

The goal came from another flowing move that ended with Ryan O’Kane slotting home after a delightful cross by Quinn Ryan.
Glenmuir’s best chance fell to Benas Lucko just minutes earlier when he took control of a neat pass from Mayowa Animashaun but Callum Rooney was quick off his line to smother the shot.
The visitors doubled their lead just two minutes after the break when Sean Murden beat the Glenmuir offside trap.
Goalkeeper Joshua Ekperuoh managed to get a hand on the ball but he couldn’t prevent Murden’s effort finding the net.
Glenmuir never recovered and Bellurgan’s confidence grew as the game progressed and they wrapped up the game with a third goal in the closing stages when Ryan O’Kane latched onto a poor clearance to hammer past Ekperuoh for his second of the night.
