RUGBY | Carlingford Knights squeeze past Team Blue Sky to win Tag Rugby League

Little between both sides in a fitting finale to popular competition

The very successful Dundalk RFC IRFU Volkswagen Tag Rugby League came to a conclusion last Friday night at the Mill Road when Team Blue Sky met the Carlingford Knights in the decider.

There proved to be very little between two very formidable sides and the half time break arrived with things all square.

A tight second half followed but it was the Knights who just had enough to claim the title, winning by two points in the end.

The trophy goes to the peninsula but there is no doubt that Team Blue Sky will be back even stronger next season!

Well done to both teams for taking the Tag Rugby League to a magnificent and unforgettable finale and to everybody who organised a brilliant event.
