KARATE | Successful grading for Dundalk Karate Club’s junior members

Head of Dundalk Karate, Sensei Mary Marcus 2nd Dan with members of Dundalk Karate with their grading certificates

Congratulations to Dundalk Karate junior members, Jacob Vilivsis, Ivan Simutkins, Adam Clerkin and Cadet Members, Josephine and Joyce Idowu on their successful Grading recently.

Head of Dundalk Karate, Sensei Mary Marcus 2nd Dan congratulated all, saying: “It is great to see everyone commit to their training especially with the extra pressure of exams, as it has been proven that those who participate in not only martial arts but sports in general at regular intervals while studying, actually obtain not only higher grades but are actually more prepared to deal with the pressure of exams in general.”

Dundalk Karate are now on their annual summer break until Thursday, June 22nd. They will return to training from 7pm to 8pm and continue every Monday and Thursday throughout the school holidays in the Redeemer Family Resource Centre, Dundalk.

Dundalk Karate always welcome new members regardless of age or ability, and if you or your child would like to join, why not pop along to the Redeemer Family Resource Centre any Monday or Thursday evening from June 22nd or contact Sensei Marcus on 086 353 1625 or [email protected]
