GREYHOUNDS | Top trainers represented at Dundalk Stadium this weekend

Friday’s eight-race card starts at 9.30pm, while the first of 11 races on Saturday is at 7.50pm.

Some of the top trainers in the country are represented in the Paddy & Eamon Carroll Memorial, which gets underway at Dundalk Stadium on Saturday night.

Paul Hennessy is sending Jaytee Angel, Its Rocking Jim and Jaytee Samurai from his base in Gowran, Co Kilkenny.

Francie Murray has entered Thats Grand for the A1 620 competition, while Pat Buckley makes the journey from Tipperary with Flying Flyer.

The event, sponsored by the Carroll family, Bellurgan, Dundalk, has a total prize fund of almost €5,000, with €2,000 going to the winner.

The semi-finals of the Ever Kleen Contract Cleaners A3 525 are down for decision on Friday.

Co Louth runners still in contention are Monleek Express for Rita and John Downey, Hangover Cure (Amy Rose O’Connor and Chris Doyle) and Deanmill Katy, trained by Michael Kelly.

1st semi-final: 1 Slippery Cinders, 2 Tullna Spartan, 3 Meenagh Angel, 4 Jennys Boy, 5 Bakery Lane, 6 Monleek Express.

2nd semi-final: 1 Kilrues Roger, 2 Hangover Cure, 3 Deanmill Katy, 4 Confey Smowey, 5 Tinas Holly, 6 Calzaghe Prost.
