GREYHOUNDS | Dundalk Stadium Preview April 28th-29th
Racing starts on both nights at 7.50pm
With no horse racing until May, greyhound racing begins at 7.50pm on Friday night at Dundalk Stadium.
The top grade event over four bends is the concluding 525, where local interest is represented by Marlbog Buble and Tammen Twister.
Marlbog Buble is trained in Clogherhead by Michael Kelly for John Thornton and Matt Ginnety, but like Tammen Twister, owned by Martina McCann; faces a stiff task. Northern raider Talking Tactics, in the blue jacket, looks the one to beat.
Wee Man, narrowly denied in a hat-trick bid, aims to resume winning ways in the third of 11 races.
He took two sprints on the bounce before losing out narrowly when stepped up to 525 yards. Now in the care of Lordship-based Peter Noone, and back sprinting, he must overcome a trap one billet.
There are 11 more races for punters to get stuck into on Saturday, again with a 7.50pm start.
In the last, Milldean Skip is fancied to oblige for north Co Dublin handler, Marie Gilbert and the M & H Racing Syndicate.
He impressed last time in a first race outside novice company when making all to beat Dream Knight by two-and-three-quarter lengths in 28.77.
Milldean Skip is likely to be given most to do by Scullys Flo, successful in a calculated 28.85 last Saturday.
