It was a dull and overcast day but, thankfully, there were only a few intermittent showers to spoil the round.

In Category One, the winner on the day was Buster Carroll with 35 points which was won on a count back of the back nine. Second was David Murden on 35 points and Eamonn O’Farrell was in third on 33 points.

The prizes were presented later in the evening in the Punter’s Bar with the food catered for by Tony’s Pizzeria.

The committee would like to thank Kieran McNamee, the landlord of the Punter’s, for his generosity and help during the year, Paul Curran of Fives Taxis for all his safe transportation during the year and all the different caterers who provided food for the golfers after the outings.
