Wins for Cooley, Kilkerley Mals, Pat’s and an U16 stalemate
U12 | Cooley open with two good victories
Cooley Kickhams’ U12 team won their first two games in the grading competition against Roche Emmets and the Geraldines respectively.
The peninsula side beat the Geraldines 4–3 to 1–1 and overcame Roche on a 1–9 to 1–7 scoreline. The team is back out this Friday night when they play Naomh Mairtin at Fr McEvoy Park.

U14 | Begley shines in Kikerley/Malachi’s win
The Kilkerley/Naomh Malachi U16 team won their first game of the Division One League against Dreadnots in Clogherhead on a scoreline of 4–14 to 3–12 on Wednesday night.
Playing a great brand of free flowing football, the visitors displayed some quick passing and an excellent display of score taking with Micheal Begley hitting 3–4 and Ewan McEnteggart 0–6.

U16 | Cooley and St Fechin’s stalemate
Cooley Kickhams and St Fechin’s played out an entertaining 2–10 to 0–16 draw on Wednesday night.
The Fechin’s were leading 0–9 to 0–5 at the break but there was no separating the teams at the full-time whistle.

Luke Higgins, Ben McGuinness and Brendan McCann all hit the back of the net as St Patrick’s beat Roche Emmets 4–12 to 1–10 in the U16 Division Two League on Wednesday night.
