Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies had a great day in Stabannon at the Nicola Barry Memorial Tournament. Well done to Stabannon Ladies on organising such a successful event.

Stephen Melia 7s

Elsewhere, the Naomh Fionnbarra men had a great day in Darver at the Stephen Melia 7s Tournament. The lads failed to make it out of their group which included Ramor United (Cavan), Rathkenny (Meath), O’Raghallaigh’s and Roche Emmets but they enjoyed a good day out. Well done to St Joseph’s GFC on organising such a successful event.

Well done to Kieran Lenihan and William Woods who were on the Louth Junior panel that won their Leinster Junior Championship semi final against Wicklow in the Gaelic Grounds, Drogheda last Wednesday night. William had a good outing as he bagged 2–4

Country Night

Naomh Fionnbarra GFC and St Anne’s Camogie Club are hosting a Country Night with Mike Denver in the Carrickdale Hotel on Friday, July 28th. Doors open at 9:30pm and tickets are on sale now, priced at €20. Louth Poc Fada

The Louth Poc Fada finals will take place on Annaverna Mountain, Ravensdale on Wednesday, June 21st. As in previous years, four categories will run: Senior Hurling, Senior Camogie, U16 Hurling and U16 Camogie with the shorter 2.5km course being used by all categories. Registration will begin at 6pm with the first category heading out at approximately 6.20pm.

Cul Camps

Naomh Fionnbarra GFC are hosting a Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Football and Hurling Camp from Monday, July 31st to Friday, August 4th. Early registration has been extended until June 14th so kids who are booked online before that date will receive their Cúl Camp gear before the camp starts.

Lotto

There was no winner of last week’s club lotto draw. The winning numbers were 3, 14, 15 and 28. There were two Match Three winners — Angela Sharkey, Clonmore and Eleanor Keaskin, 1 An Rian, Annagassan who won €75 each. This week’s jackpot stays at €10,000.

Sympathies

The club would like to express its deepest sympathy to the families of Bridie Caffrey, Mary Judkins and Maura McCarthy, Cork who passed away recently.
