The Cooley U10s produced a magnificent performance on Monday night when they travelled to Roche to take on the home side and St Patrick’s.

The boys put in a superb display of work rate while their passing and score taking was exemplary. The Cooley panel on the night was Jack Long, Emmet Duffy, Adam Brady, Connall Shields, Roan Donnelly, Robert Bolton, Cillian Duffy, Dualta O’Neill, Diarmuid McGoey, James McEnhill, Dan Ferguson, Ronan Malone, John Boyle, Tiarnan Hanneffy, Joseph Hanlon and John Reilly.

U12 boys

The club’s U12 boys lost 3–8 to 3–5 against Glyde Rangers/Westerns/Sean McDermotts on Thursday night. The Cooley Kickhams team was: Luke Sheridan, Gerry Rafferty, Sean Hoey, Niall Morgan, Brian Boyle, Dylan Clarke, Emmet Duffy, Jason Brady 0–2, Jack Craven 0–2, Thomas McCarragher, Kyle Murphy 1–0, Cian McGuinness, James McBride 2–1. Subs: Oisin Malone, Damien Long, Euan McShane, Dylan Loughran, Tomas McDonald.

U7 boys

The U7s had a victorious outing in Darver last week, playing three games played against Naomh Martin, St Joseph’s and Naomh Malachi. Well done boys on a great display of skill and determination. The Cooley squad was: Charlie O’Neill, Conor Hanlon, Conor Duffy, Ryan Duffy, Kyle Murphy, Nathan Murphy, Callum Donnelly, Logan McBride, Christopher Carron and Callum Murphy.

U14 boys

The club’s U14s slipped to a 4–11 to 3–6 defeat against the O’Raghallaigh’s in Division One during the week. The Cooley Kickhams team on the night was: Shane Quigley, Cormac Malone, Colm Keenan, Cathal Malone, Darragh Brady, Paul Brennan 0–1, John Digney, Enda O Neill 0–4, Callum O’Hanlon 1–1, Cian Reilly, Thomas McCarragher, Aaron Sheelan, Ronan McMullen, Dylan Quinn 2–0, Gerard Hanlon. Subs: Christian McGrane, Caolan Haugh, Sam Dawson, Christopher McQuaid, Sean McCarragher, Ethan Murphy.

U11 panel

The Cooley U11 team played against Cuchulainn Gaels in Omeath on Thursday last. The panel on the night was Christopher Loughran, Dominic Sycha, Fionn Murphy, Cathal Walshe, Shane Gallagher, Gerard Ryan, Taighe Murphy O’Neill, Padraic Richardson, Adam McGrath, Emmet Gill, Finn O’Reilly, Daniel Ferguson, Darren O’Shaughnessy, Danny Rogan, Sean Thornton, Ronan Clarke, Zach Woods, Michael O’Shaughnessy.

U8 boys

The U8s played three great games at a well organised blitz at Clan na Gael GFC recently. On duty for Cooley was: James Flanagan, Mark Brady, Ciaran McGooey, Matthew Brady, Eddie Boyle, Conor Hanlon, Conor Duffy and Mark Malone.

U7-U10 girls

The U7, U8, U9 and U10 girls took part in their first ever all girls match against St Mary’s in Ardee recently, displaying their skills brilliantly. Thanks to Ardee St Mary’s and especially Lucy Kerins for hosting the matches. The Cooley panel on the day was: Dearbhla McBride, Fiona McDonnell, Teagan McDonnell, Tara White, Ellen Callan, Kate Hanlon, Zoe McGrath, Niamh Arnold, Emma McCarragher, Jessica White, Katie McDonald, Sarah Duffy and Chloe Boyle.
