There were celebrations on Saturday afternoon as the Republic of Ireland Women’s U19 team secured their place in the UEFA Elite Round after a comfortable 4–0 win over Latvia in Holland.

Dundalk girls Lynn Craven (Shelbourne Ladies) and Jade Reddy (Peamount United) started the game on the substitutes bench with Lynn coming on as half-time replacement for Leah Reybet Degat.

After their 3–0 win over Estonia on Wednesday, the Girls in Green booked their place in the Elite Round thanks to goals from Kate Mooney, Tiegan Ruddy, Orla Casey and Lauren O’Callaghan.

Ireland will face Holland in their final qualifying group match on Tuesday, October 24th at 5pm.
