Semi-final to be played on August Bank Holiday

Dundalk FC have been drawn away to Galway United in the semi final of this season’s EA Sports Cup.

Stephen Kenny’s side booked their place in the last four with victories over first division clubs UCD and Waterford and will meet the Tribesmen in a repeat of 2015's semi-final which Galway won on penalties.

The two clubs met at Eamon Deacy Park almost three weeks ago when a late Gary Shanahan goal secured Shane Keegan’s outfit a 2–1 win.

The last four encounter will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 7th with a kick-off time yet to be confirmed. The other semi final tie will see Shamrock Rovers entertain Cork City in Tallaght.
