Dundalk’s home game with Bohemians on Friday, March 22nd has been postponed due to two of the Dublin club’s players being called up to Stephen Kenny’s Republic of Ireland U21 squad for the qualifier with Luxembourg two days later.
That was bad news for Italian supporter Giordano Pantosti, who had booked his flights to come to Ireland and take in a match at Oriel Park for the first time in four years.
Enter Vinny Perth.
After hearing of Giordano’s predicament, the Lilywhites first-team coach took to the airwaves on LMFM to invite the Roma-based fan to come and spend the day with the Dundalk squad at training and lunch!
Needless to say, Giordano was delighted with the offer. You can listen to the full interview below on LMFM.
