Former Dundalk FC midfielder Richie Towell was back at Oriel Park on Friday night, working as a pundit on eirSport’s coverage of the 4–0 win over Finn Harps.

The 25-year-old won two league titles, the FAI Cup, the EA Sports Cup, the President’s Cup and the Leinster Senior Cup during his three years at the club before moving to Brighton and Hove Albion in late 2015.

Towell remains a hugely popular figure amongst Lilywhites supporters and Dundalk Sport managed to catch a few words with him before he departed.
