He has only started two games this season but Dundalk FC striker David McMillan already has four goals to his name following his brace against Finn Harps on Friday night.

The 28-year-old put the champions ahead when he acrobatically met Niclas Vemmelund’s 34th-minute cross to beat Ciaran Gallagher in the Harps goal.

And McMillan sealed the win nine minutes into the second-half, turning home a Conor Clifford delivery.

The 2–0 victory keeps Dundalk FC six points behind Cork City. The Leesiders beat Derry City 3–0 at Turner’s Cross to maintain their 100% start to the season.

McMillan spoke to Dundalk Sport afterwards. You can hear what he had to say below.
