AUCTION | Bid for a signed Dundalk FC Patrick McEleney jersey
Auction set up in memory of the late Robert ‘Foods’ McLoughlin

The people of Dundalk and further afield were rocked by the tragic death of Robert ‘Foods’ McLoughlin earlier this year.
A huge Dundalk FC supporter, ‘Foods’ died on Saturday, October 21st when he was struck by two cars outside his home on the Newry Road.
Just hours beforehand, he was at Oriel Park watching the Lilywhites play their final home game of the 2017 season against Bohemians.
As a mark of respect, a minute’s applause was held in his honour before — and in the 29th minute — of the FAI Cup final between Dundalk and Cork City at the Aviva Stadium.
In a bid to raise funds for the Irish Roads Victims Association (IRVA), a number of Robert’s friends have organised a jersey auction and first up is a signed Dundalk FC Patrick McEleney shirt.
