ATHLETICS | Karlis sets a Leinster record for Dunleer AC in Tullamore

Karlis Kaugars set a new Leinster U13 boys record in the javelin over 42m and also finished third in the long jump with a new PB of 4.44m!

Liam Connaughton won the boys U18 Leinster javelin competition with a massive 58m plus throw in Tullamore on Saturday.

Well done to Anthony Dillon who finished third in the U17 100m at the Leinster Track and Field Championships in Tullamore on Saturday.

Anthony also helped Louth to silver in the Inter County relay event.

Super Saturday was followed by a super Sunday for the club in the jumps and middle distance events.

There was a Leinster gold for Aeyla Orr, silver for Emma Cheshire and bronze for Victor Eseosa. Victor was third in the U15 800m in time of 2:12 while Aeyla won the U14 long jump with 4.99m and Emma was second in the U18 long jump with a PB of 5:40m.
