ATHLETICS | Glenmore AC youngsters fly the Louth flag at the Community Games

Glenmore AC athletes were busy last weekend at the All Ireland Community Games Championships in Abbottstown.
The first event on Saturday morning was the boys U12 relay where the team of James Spain, Conor Litchfield, Cormac McCoy and Aaron Hanratty did the honours for the Cooley area.
Elsewhere, the U12 girls relay team of Rosalyn Connolly, Ava Brady, Emily Tuohy and Lisa Conlon narrowly missed out on qualifying for the finals.

At U14, Daragh Brady represented the area in the 100m sprint and Conor Litchfield was in action in the U12 600m while Craig Tuohy stepped up in the U10 200m.
Lisa Conlon competed well in the u12 600m while her sister Katie Conlon made it through to the final of the U14 800m on the Sunday afternoon. Ciaran Flynn also competed in the U16 1500m.
