New Dundalk FC striker Georgie Kelly is hoping to follow in the footsteps of David McMillan after signing a two-and-a-half year contract with the Lilywhites.
The 21-year-old Donegal native scored 37 goals in 67 appearances for UCD over the past couple of seasons and he told Dundalk Sport that McMillan is the player he identifies with the most.
“If there was one player I would compare myself to it would probably be Dave McMillan. Good enough in the air, work hard, get in the box and score a few goals. No flashy step overs or tricks!”
